You can review the chart below to decide what the right technology option is for you. Then, just stop by the Library during business hours to check out your device for the semester!

All devices can access specialized software that is offered in our OCC Computer Labs remotely.

Things To Remember When Coming to the Library

Make sure you're well

If you have any of the following symptoms, are under quarantine, or have children to care for at home, please stay home! Just let us know, and we will make other arrangements to get your system to you.

Symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea or vomiting. For more information, visit the CDC website.

Bring a photo ID

This can be your OCC Student ID or, as we are not currently issuing any Student IDs during campus closure, a Driver's License, Passport, or other photo ID.

Return & Renewal

Leaving OCC? No longer need your tech loan?

As long as you are enrolled in courses at OCC, you can continue to use your loaned technology. If you have decided not to enroll next semester, or if you are graduating, transferring, or have met your educational goal (congratulations!), please reach out to the OCC Library to arrange for a time to drop off your system. They can be reached at (714) 432-5705 ext. 0.

Remember to monitor your OCC Email!

The OCC Library will send you automatic updates to your OCC Student Email account regarding when your device is due back to the Library and how to renew your technology loan if necessary.

Can I Renew My Loan?

Yes, so long as you are enrolled in classes at OCC. You can renew your technology loan for one additional semester on the Library's website. Should you need to renew the loan a second time, you can do it over the phone at (714) 432-5705 ext. 0.
