Digital Accessibility
What is digital accessibility?
Based on the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), digital accessibility follows a set of recommendations for making web content more accessible, primarily for people with disabilities—but also for all user devices, including highly limited devices, such as mobile phones.
Awareness of digital accessibility- a subset of universally designed content- will help you present your content so that it is more understandable and useable by a larger portion, if not all, of your audience.
These webpages contain resources to help you create content that is more accessible to all your readers. If you don't find what you need here, contact us at IIC Online Support for additional help.
