Academic Progress Report (APR) Requirements-Fall/Spring 2022/23

• 1. All students are required to upload a summary of their semester grades on Canvas.
  • View the step-by-step tutorial to locate a summary of your grades on Canvas.
  • Plan Ahead: If one of your classes doesn't use Canvas or hasn't posted a grade on Canvas, please ask your professor for your current grade and upload that email to Canvas. Contact us if you need any assistance or ask a counselor on Walk-In Wednesdays.
• 2. All students are required to meet with an EOPS counselor virtually or over the phone. APR Counseling drop-in times: M-Th 8:30-6pm; F 8:30-2:30pm
  1. To complete the counseling meeting virtually, go directly to the EOPS Canvas Community Center home page and locate "Virtual Lobby for Drop-In Counseling."
  2. To complete the counseling meeting over the phone, call (714) 432-5817. A counselor will call you back in the order you were received. 
  3. Make sure you have uploaded your APR before meeting with a counselor. If you need assistance, reach out to the EOPS front desk at (714) 432-5817.
  4. You will be helped in the order you enter the lobby. You can see how many students are waiting before you.
  5. The lobby will be closed 10 mins before the end of the scheduled drop-in time.

• Remember - All students must meet with an EOPS counselor virtually or over the phone to fulfill second appointment:
  1. Make sure you have uploaded your APR before meeting with a counselor. If you need assistance, reach out to the EOPS front desk at (714) 432-5817 for help.
  2. You will enter Express Counseling through the EOPS Canvas Community Center home page and once in the EOPS Cranium lobby, you will be seen by a counselor in the order you entered. You can see how many students are waiting before you and the times their wait. If you have difficulties, contact EOPS front desk to help.
  3. Do NOT wait until the last minute. You can avoid long wait times by completing your APR early!
