Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT)

At Orange Coast College, health and safety are paramount to academic student success. The Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) consists of a trained team from multi-disciplinary areas of the college whose primary goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and our campus community. Through information gathering and assessment, an intervention is developed to defuse volatile situations, mitigate any level of threat, and to provide help and resources to students and our campus community who can benefit from on and off-campus services.
