2025 Summer Refreshers
Join us in the OCC Math Center to brush up on your math skills right before your Fall 2025 classes begin!
This summer, from June 9 to August 15, the OCC Math Center proudly presents Summer 2025 Math Refreshers. This is a lab-based Math Refresher aimed to prepare students for their upcoming math course in the Fall 2025 semester.
The Math Refreshers:
- Multiple start dates are availalbe
- Up to 10 weeks of review sessions
- Up to 40 sessions available, up to 4 hours per session
- Mon-Thurs: 10 AM -2 PM, June 9 to August 15
- Instructor: Syed Hussain and Khoa Ta
- Lab-based format with tutoring support
- Workshops on selected topics
- Attend as many sessions as you need to be prepared for your Fall 2025 math class
- All meetings will be in the Math Center in MBCC 218
- If you have a laptop, please bring it to all sessions.
- All resources are completely free for OCC students
- This is intended for students registered in Fall 2025 for
- Math 100: Liberal Arts Math
- Math 115: College Algebra
- Math 120: Trigonometry
- Math 140: Business Calculus
- Math 160: Statistics
- Math 170: Pre-Calculus
- Math 180+: Calculus 1 and above

- Step 1: Please complete the following interest form. You will be contacted by the Math Center staff with more information about the refreshers.
- Step 2: Logon to MyCoast and add the desired Math Skills course using one of the CRN listed below.
- CRN 12419 - Refresher for Liberal Art Math/Stats (Math 100/160) - Arithmethic Review
- CRN 12421 - Refresher for College Algebra (Math 115) - Algebra Review
- CRN 12422 - Refresher for Trigonometry (Math 120) - Algebra Review
- CRN 12423 - Refresher for Business Calculus (Math 140) - Algebra Review
- CRN 12424 - Refresher for Pre-Calculus (Math 170) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review
- CRN 12428 - Refresher for Calculus and above (Math 180+) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review
