Happy new year and welcome back! As we begin the spring semester, we’ve got lots of exciting musical opportunities ahead for OCC singers. The OCC Chorale (Music 120, MW 1:45-3:00) is looking for new members, and if you’re interested, here’s what you need to know:

Admission is by audition, but don’t freak out—it’s fast, easy, and not scary! We’ll just ask you to sing a few lines of a song you choose, and try your hand at a bit of music-reading, and then you’ll be done.

Interested singers should come to Music Room 101 on Monday, February 2, at 1:45 p.m. We’ll tell you everything you need to know then!

You do NOT need to be pre-registered for the course in order to earn a spot. If you ARE pre-registered, you will still need to complete an audition in order to be in the chorus.

If you sang in the Chorale last semester, we hope you’ll come back for more! You do not need to re-audition, but please do come to the first day of class.
We’re hoping to have our biggest Chorale yet, and it’s going to be a terrific season that includes the chance to sing some of the great choral works of the Baroque era with full orchestra. Don’t miss it!
